Late summer, associated with the Earth element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, invites us to root down, gather energy, and cultivate inner stability. This retreat supports emotional balance, digestive calm, and mental clarity through movement, stillness, and seasonal rituals.

We are inviting you to join us for a yoga & mindfulness mini retreat - half-day sanctuary to ground, reflect, and gently reset as summer wanes

Schedule Overview

 

9:30 –10:15 AM Arrival, Settling into Practice, Guided Meditation & Journalling (Optional oracle card draw or affirmation)

10:15 –11:45 AM – Ground & Flow: Gentle Yoga Practice with Longer Held Shapes

    •    Slow-flow sequence to awaken body and breath

    •    Focus on feet, hips, and spinal mobility + Feet MFR (Myofascial Release)

    •    Connection to Earth through rooted postures and longer holds​

    •    Use of props for longer-held poses

    •    Includes gentle myofascial ball or self-massage work

11:45 - 12:45PM –Mandala Rock Painting + teas

 

12:45 - 1:30PM – Nourishing Seasonal Lunch 

    •    Plant-based, seasonal foods and home baking

    •    Herbal infusions & digestive teas

 

1:30–2:15 PM – Restorative Yoga & Aromatherapy + Soundbath

    •    Deep relaxation with bolsters and blankets

    •    Incorporating earthy essential oils (cedarwood, vetiver, frankincense)

    •    Guided body scan, breathwork and Soundbath

2:15 – 2:30 PM – Closing Circle

What’s Included:

    •    All yoga, meditation, and journaling sessions

What to Bring:

    •    Comfortable clothing

    •    Water bottle

    •    Journal (if you don't have one, please bring a notepad or similar) & pen

    •    Props for the practice if you have those (blocks, bolsters etc)

    •    Warm layer or blanket and cushion for restorative yoga and relaxation

  • What is Yin Yoga? 

 

Yin Yoga is a gentle practice that focuses on holding poses for a longer duration, allowing you to deepen your flexibility, release tension, and cultivate mindfulness. It promotes relaxation, enhances circulation, and targets the deeper connective tissues of the body.

 

  • What is a Soundbath? 

 

A Soundbath is a therapeutic experience that uses various instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and other soothing sounds. The resonating vibrations from these instruments help to relax your body, calm your mind, and restore balance, providing a harmonious healing experience.

 

  •  What to Expect 

 

During our November Mini Retreat you can expect a nurturing and tranquil atmosphere to help you connect with the essence of the season: candles, seasonal essential oils aromas and a mini self care gift for the practice. 

 

  •  Who Can Attend? 

Our Autumn Yin and Soundbath Workshop is open to everyone, regardless of age or experience level. Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop is designed to cater to your needs. Come as you are, with an open heart and a curious mind.

Spaces are limited for this captivating Practice, so we encourage you to reserve your spot as soon as possible.

***Due to being a small group practice, the session is non refundable, but can be sold or gifted to a friend. If we manage to fill up your space full refund will be issued).
