Jill & myself  are so so excited to welcome you to an afternoon of Yin Yoga and Sound Bath where we can create a sacred space for you to rest, relax and gift yourself a few hours of self care! Enjoy a few hours of deep relaxation surrounded by aromas of essential oils and concluded by nourishing for the body and soul Soundbath.

We will start with an hour of Yin Yoga & Mindfulness with its long held postured to distress, release, restore & unwind. The session will conclude with an hour of Sound Bath - an immersion in sounds and vibrations that are healing for your body, mind and soul.

As the days become shorter and the world around us grows quieter, late autumn invites us to turn inward, slow our pace and create space to simply be. This gentle Yin Yoga practice is a chance to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself. Through slow, supported postures held for longer periods, we’ll work into the deeper tissues of the body while encouraging the nervous system to soften and settle. Expect calming movement, mindful breathwork, longer holds, grounding visualisations and plenty of stillness — creating a deeply restorative practice for both body and mind.

A space to:
• Release physical tension and stiffness
• Calm the nervous system
• Let go of what no longer serves you
• Create space for rest and reflection
• Reconnect with your body and breath
• Embrace the slower energy of the season

Come as you are. Leave feeling grounded, lighter and more deeply connected to yourself.

A little pause before winter arrives.

Yin Yoga practice is a combination of seated & lying down asanas. Yin postures are held from a couple of minutes to sometimes 3-5 minutes each. Being mindful in a posture for such a long time will not only have a calming and restorative effect, but will also aid in relaxing and releasing all the tight areas in the body. It is a very meditative experience as well: staying in a posture for a long period of time and being aware of your breath calms your brain and relaxes your nervous system switching it to a parasympathetic mode. Yin Yoga is a great pathway for all those new to the Practice to start on their Yoga journey as well as for all those who have been practicing Yoga for a while. In traditional Chinese philosophy, late autumn is governed by the Metal element inviting us to release what we no longer need and turn inward with clarity and acceptance.

The Late Autumn Meridians are Lung and Large Intestine. Working with the Lung & Large Intestine meridians, this autumn practice invites us to breathe deeply, release what we no longer need and create space for what’s to come
