Harnessing the Power of Change Through Balance & Equilibrium & Celebrating Autumn Equinox

We are inviting you to join us for a morning of self love and self care to celebrate the change of seasons, to reflect on the past Season and to set intentions for the future.
The Earth Element is dominating the Equinox phase as well as the whole Late Summer Season. The practice will start with some breathwork and grounding meditation and will be followed by a moving Yoga Practice.
Autumn Equinox is a time where the energies of light and dark are held in balance, as the equinox is the day when the length of day and night are perfectly equal. Post-equinox, the days continue to grow shorter and give way to longer nights, marking the start of the slow descent into winter. The days will continue to shorten until the Winter Solstice.
Harvest season is a chance for us to reap what we’ve sown, however positive or negative that might be. Then cleanse, reflect, restore and refocus. The more we transition into autumn, the more we turn our attention within and prepare for the more reflective and cooler months ahead. It’s a good time to find our own balance, and to finish up old projects or plans and plant our own seeds for changes we want to manifest in our lives. It’s also the perfect opportunity to release old habits and patterns that are no longer serving us and nourish the body and mind in preparation for winter.
The theme for our 1st Yoga Practice is Balance. Although we may strive for balance throughout the year, how often do we give ourselves a chance to deeply reflect on this idea in our lives?
The theme of Grounding will continue into our second Yin & Mindfulness Practice of the day. The season of late summer is related to the earth element in Chinese Medicine and it is a completely separate season to the rest of them.
This season is governed by the Spleen/Stomach Meridians energy and digestion. We will work with the postures to balance these meridians and will finish off the practice with a nourishing for body and soul Soundbath
